AI subprocessors

Client Chief sends data to the AI providers below when you use AI features. The table is generated from the same inventory the code is checked against: 35 points in the product send data to a provider, and 32 of them may carry personal or confidential customer data.
Providers
| Provider | Used for | Data that may be sent | Sensitive-data points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anthropic | chat | Conversation content, Workspace documents, Contact details (CRM), CRM record content | 8 of 8 |
| OpenAI | embeddings, chat, transcription | Contact details (CRM), CRM record content, Conversation content, Business memory, Workspace documents, Public search queries, Domain names, No workspace data, Voice audio | 32 of 35 |
Retention
Zero data retention is not in place for the platform OpenAI key. OpenAI may keep abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days under its standard terms. Requests to OpenAI's Responses API are sent with storage disabled, which prevents stored application state but does not by itself amount to zero retention.
Bring your own key
A workspace can connect its own OpenAI key. Data then flows under that workspace's own agreement with OpenAI rather than ours. Workspaces that need zero data retention can bring their own OpenAI key under their own agreement and ZDR attestation.
